Plan ahead to attend upcoming educational activities using the NSHTP Education Planner including ATLS courses, the Provincial Trauma Course, clinical trauma rounds, webinars, simulations, and more. NSHTP Education
The NS Health Trauma Program provides educational opportunities to health care professionals in Nova Scotia, as well as various opportunities in Prince Edward Island and New Brunswick.
The goal of these programs is to increase trauma knowledge and skills in order to improve trauma care delivery and ultimately trauma patient outcomes.
These programs provide a communication network within the province that acts to strengthen the trauma system and address best practices in trauma care.
