2016 TAC Annual Conference in Halifax
The 2016 Trauma Association of Canada (TAC) Annual Scientific Meeting and Conference was held in Halifax on May 5 & 6 at the World Trade & Convention Centre. There were 322 delegates who attended talks, debates and oral/poster presentations. In addition to the Lectured & Plenary Speakers, there was a choice of over 25 concurrent invited speaker sessions, 64 oral research presentations and 63 posters showcasing the latest work being done in the field of trauma care nationally and globally. Conference Co-Chairs, Dr Rob Green & Ms Susan Harnish, along with their Planning Committee, are to be congratulated for putting on a great program.
Dr John Kortbeek was the recipient of the inaugural Dr Charles Burns TAC Board Recognition Award.
